Overview
TESST College of Technology began presenting instruction in 1957 as TESST Technology Institute. Since then, TESST has grown from its Hyattsville root into three campuses in the state of Maryland, at Baltimore, Beltsville, and Towson. Its vocational programs have also expanded from the original electronics to include network information systems, telecommunications technology, business, allied health, and other highly demanded subjects. TESST continues to offer associate of applied science degrees and certificates that provide students with the knowledge and skills that can help qualify them for employment in today's competitive job market.
Student Appeal
The classes are either designated full-time with classes offered weekdays, or part-time with classes scheduled weeknights for students to take at their convenience. The school encourages interaction between faculty and students by integrating teaching methods that include group discussions and projects, lab work, and field trips. Communication skills are also emphasized so to better prepare students for a career.
Financial
