Overview
Founded in the 1860s, Miami-Jacobs Career College provides training in Business, Healthcare, Cosmetology, Criminal Justice, and Information Technology to students interested in enhancing skills with a diploma or degree as well as those working adults looking to enter a new profession. Campuses are located in Dayton, Troy, and Springboro, Ohio to provide convenient options to accommodate adults who might otherwise never have the opportunity to continue their education.
Student Appeal
Students learn foundational skills to apply directly to an entry-level position while simultaneously developing interpersonal communication to successfully remain mobile and marketable within their fields of choice. Student services include academic advising and career placement assistance for all students. Individual attention is emphasized to aid in the comprehension of material, while career guidance techniques help students choose the employment paths that are right for them. Career Advocates meet individually with each student to develop academic and career goals--as well as a strategy to achieve those goals. Students of massage therapy utilize state-of-the-art facilities and gain practical experience at the Serenity Day Spas.

Financial aid is available in the form of tuition assistance, financial aid, and institutional financing options for qualified students. Financial representatives are available to assist students in paying for school. Miami-Jacobs Career College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools.
