The Biotechnology program requires that students learn standard lab operating procedures, bio manufacturing, recombinant protein production and DNA/fingerprinting techniques. Upon graduation, students can find employment as lab technicians, research assistants, microbiology technicians, and more. - Dental AssistantDental Assistant
In the Dental Assisting program, students are trained in various dental office procedures and laboratory techniques. Some of these procedures include assisting chair side using four-handed dentistry, charting, appointment scheduling and more. Upon graduation, students work under the supervision of a licensed dentist and may be able to perform more advanced procedures. - Electrical Systems TechnicianElectrical Systems Technician
This program encompasses many facets of working with low-voltage electronic systems, both with installations and troubleshooting and repair. Students will be introduced to national, state and local regulations and building codes, safety practices, and the various career paths available in the field. - Massage TherapyMassage Therapy
The Massage Therapy program requires over 750 hours of classroom, lab and clinical instruction. Graduates receive a certificate in massage therapy and will be prepared to sit for the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage and Body Works. - Medical AssistantMedical Assistant
This Medical Assistant program trains students to be true multi-taskers in the health industry. Students acquire a range of administrative and clinical knowledge and skills. Students learn to do procedures such as injections, EKG's, vital signs, and urinalysis as well as a host of administrative skills including typing, transcription, word processing and patient data collection. Graduates receive a certificate and are eligible to sit for the Certified Medical Assistant exam sponsored by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). - Medical Billing/CodingMedical Billing/Coding
This program is divided into five 125-hour classroom and computer lab instruction modules as well as a 125-hour externship program. Students take courses in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, office procedures, bookkeeping methods, and more. - Medical Office Administrator ProgramMedical Office Administrator Program
In this program, students acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to perform a range of medical and dental administrative procedures. Some of these include bookkeeping, billing and collection, records management, patient data collection and more. - Personal Trainer Personal Trainer
The Personal Trainer program provides students with the knowledge and skills they need to start successful careers as personal trainers. Upon graduation, students can take the NSCA-CPT certification test. The program is only 10 months long, and students can expect to find employment in a wide variety of environments including health clubs, clinics and hospitals. - Pharmacy TechnicianPharmacy Technician
The pharmacy technician program is intended to prepare students to perform the administrative and clinical skills they need to work as Pharmacy Technicians and in variety of environments. Students learn how to interpret prescriptions, fill them, communicate with doctors and advise patients about medication interactions. Graduates are able to take the national exam sponsored by the national healthcare association.
