Bauder College

Overview
Bauder College is an accredited institution located in Atlanta, GA, originally founded in 1962 to train students in the field of fashion merchandising. The school's academic programs extend to the undergraduate level, providing both associate's degrees and bachelor's degrees in addition to a number of certificates in medical assisting, business administration, criminal justice, fashion design, fashion merchandising, interior design and graphic design. The curricula integrate general education, professional skills, and career-focused education to encourage student development and career potentials.

    This diverse curriculum prepares students for entry-level employment in various areas of the global business arena, such as marketing, communications, technology, entertainment, health care, distribution, or fashion. The comprehensive coursework improve their skills in research, communication, and teamwork, as well as creating and implementing a business plan.
  • Business Administration, Marketing or Management - Associate of ArtsBusiness Administration, Marketing or Management - Associate of Arts
    Emphasis on either marketing or management, students of this program receive education in accounting, management, economics, advertising, and marketing, with externship to provide in-depth experience within the chosen curriculum.
  • Business Administration, Accounting - Bachelor of ScienceBusiness Administration, Accounting - Bachelor of Science
    This program is designed by accounting professionals to develop the accounting, interpersonal, and written communication skills required for success in this field. The courses also focus on the use of computers and computer software applications in today's large- and small-business accounting environments, from computing, classifying, and recording numerical data to examining financial records and preparing income tax returns.

    This curriculum offers the instruction and training for students to visually present and produce their ideas in the world of fashion. Built upon developing students' design, illustration, and presentation abilities, the coursework also include pattern-making, clothing construction, draping, specialty design, storyboard creation, and computer graphics to enhance their expertise and efficiency.

    This program introduces students to different operating systems and teaches them how to repair computers as well as how to plan, build, and troubleshoot a network, in addition to providing the necessary knowledge and skills to take Microsoft certification exams, the CompTIA A+ and Net+ exams, and MCP.
  • Computer Support Technician - CertificateComputer Support Technician - Certificate
    For students interested in assisting with day-to-day administration, maintenance, and support of computer systems and networks, they can acquire the requisite abilities through the discussions, lectures, and hands-on experience offered by this program.
  • Criminal Justice - Associate of Arts or Bachelor of ScienceCriminal Justice - Associate of Arts or Bachelor of Science

Graduates often seek employment as assistant designer, illustrator, stylist, technical designer, CAD or CAM operator, and many more.
  • Fashion Merchandising - Associate of ArtsFashion Merchandising - Associate of Arts
    This program is intended for prospective merchandise coordinators, showroom sales representatives, visual merchandisers, product development trainees, event planners, fashion forecasters, merchandise planners, fashion journalists, and small business owners. The courses instruct students in all aspects of the fashion merchandising to meet the ever-changing demands of the industry.
  • Graphic Design - Associate of ArtsGraphic Design - Associate of Arts
    Through a balanced and comprehensive course of instruction, students gain in-depth knowledge of the graphic design business that stress technical and presentation skills while encouraging creativity. Students also explore the many ways of developing and creating a range of design projects, such as advertising campaigns, logos, packaging, posters, publications, and more, from concept to production.
  • Information Technology - Bachelor of ScienceInformation Technology - Bachelor of Science
    Students learn the integral skills for information technology that is relied upon by nearly every industry to facilitate communication, expedite processes, and manage day-to-day operations. They will be able to apply system and technical solutions and analysis to hardware and software problems in their prospective employment as a technical support specialist, help desk technician, or network administrator.
  • Interior Design - Associate of ArtsInterior Design - Associate of Arts
    This program introduces the creative and technical processes of interior design for students interested in pursuing a position in the field. They learn how to effectively communicate with clients and vendors by using industry-recognized visual tools, strategic planning, and effective problem-solving techniques. Graduates often seek employment in both the retail and wholesale industries as manufacturers' representatives, showroom personnel, and in furniture sales.
  • Medical Assisting - Associate of Applied ScienceMedical Assisting - Associate of Applied Science
    The objective of this program is to prepare students with the knowledge, technical skills, and work habits necessary to seek an entry-level position as a medical assistant. Graduates are able to administer injections, take and read patients' vital signs, assist in minor surgical procedures, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and basic first aid, complete and code medical insurance documents, manage a physician's office, perform charting and related documentation duties, and perform venipuncture, qualifying them for a career in medical assisting.
  • Medical Assisting - CertificateMedical Assisting - Certificate
    This curriculum features courses preparing the students to assist a physician in physical examinations and minor surgery and with EKGs, vital signs, laboratory testing, as well as training to keep a medical office running smoothly.
  • Paralegal - Associate of Applied ScienceParalegal - Associate of Applied Science
    Our programs in the legal field feature courses in areas such as legal research, paralegal skills, and legal office practices. Through in-depth training, our instructors stress fundamental awareness of the law and practical, hands-on skills that could prepare you to meet the demands of the paralegal and legal assistant professions. These programs will not prepare you to practice law.
