I would like to addres the comment by the person who says this college isn't for slackers, that you have to work at your grades. I have found the classes to be insulting to my intelligence. I have been retaught things that I learned in Jr. high school. The caliber of students is terrible- and like another commenter said, they won't have you take some kind of testing for placement, because it would curtail their enrollment numbers. The students they allow in are so stupid that most of the time and discussion is spent trying to teach them basic grammar skills. You don't have to work your butt off. If you have to work hard to get a degree from this place, it means you weren't that smart to begin with.
I am currently a student who just found out no other school recognizes this "college". I just spent all this money and time going to this school, to find out that I can't transfer anything to a better university. I have made straight A's in my classes- because they're so simple, it's really hard to fail. I mean, you have to work at failing!
The curriculum is elementary, for the most part. Going for an AA in Human Services, I get to spend two weeks discussing people's sexual orientation, and why they feel they are oriented that way. This serves WHAT purpose? I had Saul Alinsky quoted in my text, in a postive way, and the critical thinking class, I had to analyze essays written by 9/11 truther conspiracy folks. no joke. If I could upload the text here, I would.
If you're consiering going back to school, don't dismiss online classes- even Harvard has online classes. But get a decent education from somewhere that is acredited- as in other universities recognize them. Spend your money elsewhere.
