I am currently still attending the university. I started in August of this year and it seems okay to me. I really haven's had much experience with the university yet but so far it's good. The advisors and teachers even your classmates all try to help you to succed and that's why I choosed the school. In order for you to get in you have to really want to go because that is the only way they will except you. My advisor is cool, she calls me every other week to check up on me and see if there is anything i may need help with. My books arrive on time my classes are cool, not to much at one time. Although, the only thing I will have to get use to is the every month class change. I use to taking the classes for a semester but these courses only last for maybe a month in a half or two. Luckily I'm only going for medical billing and coding!

yes I am still a student at CTU. I take the online courses as we are military and move alot. I have been a student there for a year and I love the school. Most instructors have been great and have a real desire to help you suceed. I think the main reason I chose CTU was that the price was all inclusive. There is no extra charges for tech support or books, as I found with other schools.

I am an HR Specialist for an Illinois corporation and I often see "CTU" on resumes: our company will not hire any of these candidates. CTU, along with many other online colleges, are extremely expensive and have very low educations standards (despite thier accredidation). You are much better off taking night classes at a community college, or, take online classes at a state school. Every candidate I have interviewed from CTU has had negative things to say about the "university", despite trying to sell me on how important thier education is. I ASSUME MUCH OF THE POSITIVE FEEDBACK ABOUT CTUO ON THIS SITE HAS BEEN PLACED BY MARKETING EMPLOYEES OF CTUO. Most companies do not see online schools as legitimate equivalents to a more traditional college education, and I know in my field CTUO is especially looked down upon. On a positive note, I'd suggest going to an online school if your current employer requires you to complete a degree to be promoted (just make sure the school is REGIONALLY ACCREDITED), otherwise save your time and money and STAY AWAY FROM CTUO. If this post is not warning enough check out some of the other negative feedback on CTUO's "professors" (I could teach here) and thier sleazy collections policies.
I wouldn't do it over even if they paid me!

I would not recommend this school to any person seeking a well earned education. Like every body else states, you can go a full term with out opening a book. Actually, you can go the full school year without opening a book. Some of the professors where helpful. I appealed a grade change and it took a YEAR to change it, and it stopped me from graduating (before I threatened to go to the president of course). None of the advisors or even the teachers were calling me back. The advisors are incompetent, the financial aide reps won't return calls, its simply ridiculous! My last year I was told my financial aid had been maxed out and I had to pay for the rest of my classes. Luckily I was on TAP or I couldn't graduate. Reflecting on the school, I can honestly say I could have learned more off the internet with great sources than I could have from this school.
